Display Information

First, we want to say Thank You & God bless you, to all the churches and individuals who extended their missions outreach though a display of our crafts, jewelry, & soapstone mostly from East Africa! From these sales we are able to help in East Africa in life changing ways. Some of these ways are:
    
   - The care, health, & education of orphans

   - Provision of jobs for unemployed woman as they make crafts, and are thereby enabled to care for their children & parents

   - Resources for projects of refugee relief, health education, clergy & lay education, and building repairs as they occur.

   - Family-sized drip irrigation systems which provide a controlled release of water for maize (a staple food) using only 5
     buckets of water daily

   - By providing scholarships at the former Pastoral Institute, now Presbyterian University, Thogoto, for pastoral students to ease
     the overburdened Presbyterian pastors

   - By providing scholarships to Kenya Methodist University for education and training of Methodist pastor and lay pastors

   - And most recently by sending a 40' container with 250,000 meals to Kenya, after the worst drought in 60 years caused a
     severe food crisis and left more then 3 million Kenyans facing malnutrition & starvation


If your church has a box or will be receiving one, here is some useful information about the process. When you receive the box this information will be in a packet as well, with other useful paperwork.

   - All the items will be individually priced & for purchase

   - One 8 foot table should be sufficient, but two is ideal

   - Inventory, accounting procedures, & cost of shipping are handled by African Team Ministries

   - The money your church raises is needed PROMPTLY. Please mail the money & credit card slips EACH WEEK. Do not wait
      for the checks still to come in, mail what you have and the rest asap. Checks can be made out to "African Team Ministries" 
      or to your church. We accept AMEX, VISA, & MASTERCARD, please write clearly and with dark ink your credit card info
  
   - PLEASE DO NOT put the money, checks, or credit card slips in the craft box. Mail all proceeds (we provide an envelope in 
     the packet) to this address :

   - Please save all packing materials for returning your unsold items after you have finished your display 



Once the display is finished and you are ready to repack the remaining items and get the box picked up by UPS, please follow these steps:

   - Please place all the jewelry in a large plastic bag (not necessarily in their individual bags) 

   - Wrap the soapstone items in the bubble wrap they came in or each in a large plastic bag

   - Use the packing popcorn and original box to return items

   - If there is any empty space at the top of the box once you have put your unsold items in it, cut each corner of the box
     enough to fold over so there is no extra space. (see diagram below) This process helps us receive the items back in good 
     condition & not broken
                                                                        

   - Tape the box securely, and now your box is ready for pickup! UPS will bring the shipping label

   - To get the box picked up please do one of the following: 
            - Fill out the form below and sumbit it
            - Call us at 1 (626) 359-5075 

            - Fill out the Box Return Form sent in the information packet in the box, and fax it to 1(626) 359-8075
    
       Please allow 3-5 business days for UPS to pick up, if for some reason it is not picked up, please call us
